ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Ethical relationship

An ethical relationship is when two people treat each other the way they would want to be treated. This means being kind, honest, fair, and respectful to one another. Just like how we share our toys and take turns on the slide with our friends, in an ethical relationship, we share our feelings, listen to each other, and try to understand one another's perspectives. It's important to always tell the truth and not hurt someone's feelings on purpose. When we have an ethical relationship, it makes us feel good inside and we know that we are making others feel good too.
