European Council

The European Council is made up of heads of state or government from countries in the European Union. They are the most powerful leaders in Europe and meet four times a year to talk about things that are important to the European Union, like how to improve the economy, how to help people who are searching for jobs, and how to keep Europe safe. They also help to make decisions about laws in the European Union. Basically, the European Council is like a high-level meeting of all the EU countries working together to make Europe the best it can be.
