European citizens' consultations

Okay kiddo, have you ever been to a big family meeting or party where all your relatives come together and talk about important things? European citizens' consultations are kind of like that, but on a much bigger scale.

In Europe, there are a lot of people who live in different countries but they are all considered part of the same "European Union" family. Sometimes, the leaders of the European Union want to hear what regular people think about the important issues that affect them all.

So, they organize these big meetings called "European citizens' consultations" where people like you and me can come together and talk about what we think is important. We can share our ideas, opinions, and concerns about things like climate change, education, healthcare, and many other important topics.

After the meetings, all of the ideas and opinions that people shared are gathered up and analyzed by the leaders of the European Union. They use this information to make decisions that will affect all the people who live in the European Union countries.

So basically, European citizens' consultations are like big family meetings where everyone has a chance to share their thoughts and ideas, and the leaders of the family listen to what everyone has to say so they can make better decisions for everyone.
