ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Eutelsat

Eutelsat is a big company that sends TV and internet signals up into space so that we can receive them on Earth. It's kind of like when we throw a ball up in the air and it comes back down to us, but Eutelsat sends signals up very, very high so that they can reach lots of people all over the world.

Just like how we need a TV or a computer to receive signals from our cable company, people also need special equipment to receive signals that Eutelsat sends out. Sometimes Eutelsat sends signals just for TV, and sometimes they send signals for both TV and internet.

Eutelsat has lots of different satellites up in space that help them send out these signals. Satellites are like big machines that stay up in space and help us communicate with each other from far away. Eutelsat is really good at making sure these satellites work well and don't break or run out of battery power.

Thanks to Eutelsat, even people living in really remote or hard-to-reach places can still get TV and internet signals from far away. And that's pretty cool!
