Event data recorder

An event data recorder is like a little black box inside a car. Just like how an airplane has a black box that records important information, a car also has one that does the same thing. This little black box can tell us things like how fast the car was going, how hard the brakes were being pressed, and if the seat belts were being used. It's kind of like a way for adults to see what happened in a car crash and make sure everyone is safe.
