ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Everything, Everything (novel)

"Everything, Everything" is a book about a girl named Madeline who is allergic to everything in the world. This means that she can't ever leave her house or come into contact with anything or anyone that could possibly make her sick. So she spends her days reading books, playing games, and talking to her mom and nurse, who are the only people allowed to come into her house.

One day, a boy named Olly moves in next door, and he and Madeline start talking through their windows. They get to know each other and eventually fall in love. Madeline starts to question whether her illness is really as bad as she's been told, and whether it's worth staying trapped in her house forever.

Throughout the book, Madeline goes on a journey of self-discovery, questioning everything she's ever known and learning to make decisions for herself. She learns to be brave, to take risks, and to trust her own instincts.

In the end, this book is a story about the power of love, the importance of living life to the fullest, and the courage it takes to break free from the things that hold us back.
