Evidence-based nursing

Evidence-based nursing is a way of making sure that nurses use the best information that is available when taking care of patients. It means that nurses use research studies and other evidence to decide the best ways to care for a person. Nurses look at the evidence that is available and compare it to what they think might help the patient and then they make a decision on how best to help the patient. This helps them make sure that the care they give is the best that it can be.
