Evil Empire speech

The 'Evil Empire Speech' was a speech made by then US President Ronald Reagan in 1983. He used this speech to speak out against the Soviet Union and communism in general. He described the Soviet Union as an 'evil empire' and said that it was 'the focus of evil in the modern world.' He argued that the Soviet Union was responsible for spreading fear and oppression across the world and that the US should stand up against them and fight for freedom for all. In the speech, Reagan also stated his vision of a world where all nations were free and at peace with each other.
