Yellowface is when someone pretends to be a different race, usually Asian, so they wear makeup to make themselves look more Asian. This is usually done by an actor to make themselves look Asian for a movie or TV show. An example of yellowface would be when an actor wears an Asian-style costume or puts on makeup that makes them look different than their own skin color.
