Exit (economics)

"Exit" in economics means when someone (like a person or a company) decides to stop participating in a certain market or stop using a specific product. For example, if you don't like playing with a toy anymore, you might decide to stop playing with it and put it away. That's like an "exit" from the toy market. Or, if a company is losing money making a certain product, they might decide to stop making it and focus on something else. That's their "exit" from that product market. The decision to exit is usually made because there is something better or more profitable to do instead.
