Extraterrestrial real estate

Extraterrestrial real estate is a term used to describe owning property on a planet or moon (or other object) outside of Earth. It is not possible to buy or own land on a planet or moon outside of Earth because we do not currently have the technology to travel that far and make it safe for us to be there. So, any "real estate" outside of Earth is purely imaginary.
