Extreme points of Canadian provinces

Do you know what a province is? It's like a really big town with lots of different places inside it. Just like how your town might have a playground, a school, and a library, a province has a bunch of different areas and cities.

Now, let's talk about extreme points. That means the most north, most south, most east, and most west parts of a province. Just like how some days you might want to go all the way to the north side of your town or all the way to the south side, provinces have these extreme points too.

For example, in Ontario, which is a big province in Canada, the most northern point is a place called Peawanuck. If you look at a map, you'll see that it's way further north than any other place in Ontario! And the most western point is a place called Point Pelee, which sticks out into a big lake. And the most eastern point is a spot called Fishto Islands, which is way out in the ocean.

Different provinces have different extreme points because they're shaped differently and they're in different parts of Canada. But no matter which province you're in, there's always a most north, most south, most east, and most west point.
