Extreme points of Earth

Extreme points of earth are the furthest points from the center of the Earth. They are important because they give us an idea of how big the Earth is. They are found by measuring in all directions (North, South, East and West) to figure out which points on Earth are the furthest away from the center. The North Pole is the most northern part of the Earth and the South Pole is the most southern part of the Earth. The Easternmost point on Earth is located in the Pacific Ocean and the Westernmost point is located in Greenland. These extreme points help us understand our planet better.
