Okay kiddo, you know how there are a lot of countries in the world, right? Well, some of these countries like to hang out together and call themselves the Commonwealth of Nations. It’s kind of like a big club where they all get to be friends and help each other out.
Now, this Commonwealth has a lot of members, and they’re spread all over the world. Some of these countries are really close to one another and some are very far away. And some of these countries are so far away that they’re called extreme points.
Basically, imagine a map of the world with all the Commonwealth countries marked on it. If you look carefully, you’ll notice that some of them are in really remote locations. For example, there’s a country called Tuvalu that’s way out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. It’s so small and far away that it’s considered an extreme point of the Commonwealth.
Another extreme point of the Commonwealth is a country called Saint Helena. This country is actually an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, and it’s famous for being the place where Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled after he lost a war in Europe.
So, in summary, the Commonwealth of Nations is a big club of countries that help each other out. And some of these countries are so far away from the others that they’re called extreme points. Think of them like the farthest corners of the club where not as many people go.
