An eye chart is a special picture that helps doctors check how well your eyes can see things that are far away. The picture has lots of different sized letters on it. Some letters are big and some are small. The doctor will ask you to cover one eye and then read the letters out loud with the other eye. If you can read the small letters, it means your eyes are working well. If you can't read the small letters, the doctor may need to help you with glasses or other treatments to make your eyes better.
