ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

FAI World Grand Prix

FAI World Grand Prix is a fancy competition where grown-ups fly small airplanes in a race against each other. Just like you race your toy cars or planes with your friends, these people do it in real life! They fly their tiny planes in a circle around a track, with obstacles like balloons in their way to make it even more exciting.

The planes are controlled by radio signals that the pilots send from the ground using a remote control. The pilots have to be really good at controlling their planes because they move really fast and need to avoid crashing into each other.

The competition is held in different countries every year, so the pilots get to travel all over the world. It's a really cool way for them to show off their skills and make new friends who love flying as much as they do.
