FIRST Lego League

First Lego League is an exciting and fun competition where kids aged 9-16 come together to solve real-world problems using Lego bricks and technology. It is like a big game where kids work in teams to design, build and program a robot using Lego Mindstorms or Spike Prime kits.

The robots are then made to complete a set of missions that are related to the year's theme. The theme changes every year, but it is always focused on STEM topics like renewable energy, space exploration, or healthcare. The teams must research the theme and come up with an innovation project that solves a problem related to the theme.

The innovation project is presented to a panel of judges who evaluate the project based on creativity, originality, and innovation. The robot is also evaluated based on its design, programming, and performance in completing the missions.

The competition teaches kids valuable skills like teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and critical thinking. It is a fun and challenging way to learn about STEM and prepare for future careers in science, engineering, and technology.
