Faculty (academic staff)

Faculty, also known as academic staff, are the grown-up teachers and professors who work at colleges and universities. They teach classes to students, do research to discover new things, and help make decisions about how the school is run. Just like how you have a teacher in your classroom who helps guide you through learning new things, faculty members do the same thing but on a bigger scale. They are experts in their field and want to share their knowledge with you so you can become smarter and better educated.
