Family caregivers

Family caregivers are people who take care of other family members who might be sick or need extra help. It's kind of like being a superhero who saves the day!

Let's say your grandma fell down and hurt her leg, and she can't get up by herself or do all of the things she used to do. You might be a family caregiver for your grandma!

Family caregivers help their loved ones with things like getting dressed, going to the bathroom, cooking meals, and going to doctor appointments. They might also clean the house or help with lawn care.

Being a family caregiver can be really hard work and take up a lot of time. But it can also be really rewarding to help someone you love and make their life easier. It's important for family caregivers to take care of themselves too, by getting help or taking breaks when they need it.
