Fan service

Fan service is when a creator of a movie, show or book tries to give fans something they want by adding an extra, special thing. For example, if a fan wanted a certain character to be in a show, the creator might add that character just to make fans happy. It can also mean adding in scenes or extra jokes to make fans laugh. Generally, fan service is something that makes fans smile and enjoy the story even more.
