Fan-in

Fan-in is when lots of different things can be put into one place. It's like a really big box that can fit lots of small things - so you don't have to keep them all in lots of smaller boxes. For example, if you have a lot of pens, pencils and markers in your desk drawer, then you have fan-in. All those things can be together in one drawer instead of taking up lots of space in different drawers.
