Far Eastern Republic
Okay kiddo, let's talk about the Far Eastern Republic.
A long time ago, there was a country called Russia, and it was very very big. It had lots of different areas with different people and cultures.
One area in the far east of Russia was called the Far East, and the people who lived there felt like they were very far away from the rest of Russia. They had their own way of life and things that were important to them.
But sometimes, the government in the big city of Moscow didn't pay as much attention to what was going on in the Far East as they should have. People in the Far East felt like their needs and wants weren't being understood or respected by the government.
So, some people in the Far East decided to make their own country. They called it the Far Eastern Republic, or FER for short. They had their own flag and their own government.
The FER existed for a few years, but eventually it reunited with Russia. But during those years, the people of the Far East were able to have more control over their own lives and their own future.
