Farang

Farang is a word used in Thailand to describe foreigners, which means "foreigner" or "foreign person". Imagine you're at a party with all of your friends and then you see someone you don't know. That person is the farang at the party. They might not look the same, talk the same language, or have the same skin color as everyone else, but that doesn't mean they're not friendly or interesting. Just like how you might have friends from different schools or neighborhoods, people in Thailand also meet and befriend farangs from all around the world. So, farang is just a word that Thai people use to describe someone who comes from another country!
