Fast-moving consumer goods

Fast-moving consumer goods are things that people buy a lot of and use all the time. These can include things like food, drinks, toiletries (like shampoo and soap), and many other everyday items. We call them "fast-moving" because they sell really quickly and people use them up fast.

Think about your favorite snack or candy. You might buy it all the time and eat it right away, right? That's a fast-moving consumer good! These items are usually cheaper than bigger or fancier things, but they're still really important because we use them every day.

Because people constantly buy and use these goods, companies have to work hard to keep them in stock on store shelves. They also have to compete with other companies who make similar products. So, the companies that make fast-moving consumer goods need to make sure their products stand out and are the ones that people want to buy. They can do this by putting them on sale, making them more convenient to buy, or even by changing how they look to make them more attractive.

So, next time you go to the store, take a look at all the different kinds of fast-moving consumer goods you see. Chances are, you'll notice that you use many of them every day without even thinking about it!
