Feast of the Ass

The Feast of the Ass is an old celebration that happened in some places a long time ago. It was a special day where people would dress up a donkey like it was a fancy king or queen. They would even put a special crown on its head!

The reason why they did this was because they believed the donkey was special. You see, a long time ago, a donkey helped carry a very important person. This person was Jesus and he was riding on the donkey.

People wanted to remember how important the donkey was, so they created this special day to celebrate it. On this day, people would sing and dance and have a big party to show how much they appreciated the donkey.

Nowadays, we don't celebrate the Feast of the Ass anymore, but it's still fun to learn about it and remember the story of the special donkey that helped a very important person a long time ago.
