Federal Reserve Police

Federal Reserve Police are special police officers who protect property, personnel and assets of the United States Federal Reserve System, which is responsible for overseeing the country's economy. Federal Reserve Police are responsible for patrolling Federal Reserve buildings, grounds and parking lots. They also act as law enforcement officers in the event of a crime or disturbance on Federal Reserve property, and can arrest people if they witness a criminal act. Federal Reserve Police also help to provide security for meetings, deliver confidential mail, and act as a liaison between local police departments and the Federal Reserve.
