Felidae

Felidae is the scientific name for a group of animals we know as cats. Just like there are different types of cats, like lions, tigers, and house cats, there are different animals in this group too. Felidae is special because all of the animals in this group have some things in common, like their sharp teeth and claws, their ability to see well in the dark, and their love for meat. So, you could say that Felidae is like a big family of cats that all share similar traits.
