Feminism in Canada is like when some people think that boys and girls should be treated the same and have the same opportunities. It's like when you and your friend both go to school and learn the same things and both get to play sports and have fun. Some people think that in the past, girls and women didn't get treated the same as boys and men. They didn't get to go to school as much or do certain jobs that they wanted to do. Feminists in Canada want to make sure that doesn't happen anymore. They want to make sure that girls and boys, and women and men, are treated equally and have the same chances in life. Sometimes people argue about what that means and how to do it, but the important thing is that everyone should have the same opportunity to be happy and successful.
