Fengshen Yanyi

Fengshen yanyi (sometimes called The Investiture of the Gods) is a super old book from China about gods and their superpowers. Think about it like a really long cartoon or TV show like Power Rangers, but much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much much longer.

In Fengshen yanyi, there are two main groups of gods: good gods who help people and evil gods who like to cause trouble. The leader of the good gods is called the Jade Emperor, and the leader of the evil gods is called King Zhou. They often have fun battles where they use their superpowers to try to outsmart and defeat the other.

There are also humans in Fengshen yanyi, who often get caught up in the god's battles. Some of the humans were even given special powers by the gods to fight against the evil gods.

The book has many stories and characters in it, and it's been around for a really long time. People in China and other parts of Asia still read it and watch adaptations of it today!
