Feral pigeon

Okay, so have you ever seen a pigeon sitting on a park bench or flying around in the city? Well, sometimes these pigeons are called feral pigeons. They are different from the pigeons that live in cages or are kept as pets because they don't have a specific person taking care of them. They have to find their own food and shelter.

Feral pigeons are very smart birds and can adapt to living in cities very well. They like to gather in large groups and can often be seen sitting on the ledges of buildings or on the sidewalk. They eat anything they can find, like bread or even pieces of trash, and often drink from puddles or fountains.

Sometimes people don't like feral pigeons because they can leave a lot of droppings in public areas, and the droppings can be pretty messy. But it's important to remember that these birds are also a part of our urban environment and can help keep our cities clean by eating things that would otherwise be left on the ground.

So next time you see a feral pigeon, remember that they are just trying to survive in the city like we are, and we should try to be respectful of their space and their important role in our ecosystem.
