Fernet

Fernet is a type of strong, bitter drink that grown-ups like to drink sometimes. It is made by putting different herbs and plants into alcohol and letting it sit there for a very long time so that the flavor from the herbs can flavor the alcohol. Fernet tastes kind of like medicine - yucky to some people, but some grown-ups really like it. It is usually served as a shot, which means a small amount of drink that you drink all at once. Some people like to mix Fernet with other things to make it taste better, but some people like it just the way it is!
