Fertility and intelligence

Fertility and intelligence are related in that more intelligent people tend to have fewer children than less intelligent people. This could be because intelligent people are more likely to pursue further education and careers which might mean they delay having children. They might also want fewer children because they understand the costs and responsibility that come with raising a child.
