Fiber (computer science)

Fiber is like a tube that runs between two different places. Inside the tube, there's a special kind of light which is used to carry data. It's like having an invisible highway that computers can use to send data to one another very quickly. Fiber is much faster than other types of data connections, so computers can send and receive data faster.
