Fig-cake (fruit)

Okay kiddo, have you ever eaten a fig before? They are a type of fruit that grow on special trees and have a sweet and chewy inside with little seeds.

But have you ever heard of a fig cake? It's a special kind of cake that's made from figs!

To make a fig cake, first we take the figs and cut off the stems. Then we mash up the figs into a mushy paste.
