Figure skating

Figure skating is a sport where people wear special shoes with blades on the bottom and skate on ice. They do cool tricks and dances on the ice, like spins and jumps.

When they compete, they have to do certain things like spin a certain number of times or jump a certain way. Judges watch them and give them points based on how well they do each thing.

Figure skating takes a lot of practice and hard work to get good at. Skaters have to train for hours every day and sometimes even have to move away from their families to work with the best coaches.

Many people also watch figure skating on TV, especially during big competitions like the Olympics. It can be really entertaining to watch the skaters do their amazing moves and see who can do them the best.
