Filipino Americans

Filipino Americans are people who live in America who are descended from people who come from the Philippines. The Philippines is an island country in Southeast Asia, which means it is near countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Filipino Americans often have a mix of Filipino and American culture and traditions in their family. They might eat a mix of Filipino and American dishes, or wear a mix of Filipino and American clothes. Many Filipino Americans have family members still living in the Philippines and continue to visit them.
