Fill (music)

"Fill" in music means adding some extra notes or sounds during the spaces in between the main parts of a song or music piece. It's like putting extra toppings on a pizza - they're not necessary, but they can make it more fun and interesting. For example, a drummer might add some fancy rhythms or beats during a guitar solo or chorus to make the music sound more full and exciting. Fills can vary depending on the type of music - in rock music, they might be loud and energetic, while in jazz music they might be more complex and improvised.
