ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Film tinting

Film tinting is a process in which different types of coloring is added to a black and white film to make it look different. It makes the film look like it was made in color, but it's actually just a special effect that was added after the film was made. It's kind of like a painter adding different colors to a black and white painting. It can give a film a certain look or make certain scenes stand out more.
