ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Fire (classical element)

Fire is one of the four classical elements, along with water, earth, and air. Fire is what makes things hot and bright. When you light a match, you can see the fire and feel the warmth it gives off. Fire needs three things to work: fuel, heat, and oxygen. The fuel could be wood, gas, or paper, and the heat can come from a lighter, a stove, or the sun. Oxygen is the air that we breathe.

Fire is very useful for cooking food, making things warm, and giving light. However, fire can also be very dangerous. If it gets out of control, it can burn things like buildings and trees, and can hurt people and animals. That's why it's important to be careful with fire and never to play with it without adult supervision.

Overall, fire is a fascinating and powerful element that we must respect and use wisely for our own safety and survival.
