Fire Boy (Japanese folktale)
So, imagine there was a boy in Japan a long, long time ago who had a very special gift. His body was made of fire!
This boy, known as Fire Boy, could do all sorts of cool things because of his fiery body. For example, he could light up rooms at night, cook food with his own heat, and even swim in hot springs without getting burnt!
But despite all his amazing abilities, Fire Boy was lonely. People were scared of him because he was different and some even called him a monster. So Fire Boy decided to leave his village and set out on a journey to find friends who understood him.
During his journey, Fire Boy met a kind old man who took him in and showed him how to live a happy life. He also met a group of animals who were fascinated by his fiery body and became his loyal friends.
However, Fire Boy's happy life was threatened when a wicked bandit heard about his special gift and decided to capture him. The bandit believed that he could use Fire Boy's powers for his own gain.
But Fire Boy was brave, and he used his powers to escape from the bandit's trap. He was then able to save his animal friends and defeat the wicked bandit.
In the end, Fire Boy finally found what he had been looking for – love and acceptance from those who understood him. And so he continued his journey, spreading joy and warmth wherever he went.
