Fire brick

Imagine you're building a house out of LEGOs. You've got your regular LEGOs for the walls and roof, but you also have some special LEGO pieces called "fire bricks". These fire bricks are different because they can handle really high temperatures without breaking or melting, just like a superhero who is super strong and can handle a lot of weight without getting hurt.

In real life, fire bricks are made from special materials like clay and other minerals that make them really strong and resistant to heat. They're used for things like lining fireplaces, furnaces, and kilns, which are all places that get really hot.

So just like how you use different types of LEGOs for different parts of your house, you use fire bricks for places that need to be able to handle a lot of heat without breaking or melting. And just like how your LEGO house will be better if you use the right pieces, using fire bricks can help make sure that your fireplace or furnace works properly and safely without getting damaged.
