First Fandom
Have you ever loved a book, movie, or TV show so much that you wanted to know everything about it and talk a lot about it with other people who also love it? That's what we call being a fan!
The First Fandom is a group of people who were really big fans of science fiction books, movies, and magazines a long time ago, around the 1930s. They wanted to talk about science fiction with other fans, but back then it was harder to do that because there was no internet or social media like we have now.
So the First Fandom club was created for fans to meet and talk about science fiction. They would write letters to each other, create art inspired by science fiction, and even hold big gatherings called conventions where they could all meet up in person.
Being part of a fandom is a fun way to connect with other people who share the same interests as you, and the first fandom helped to create a community of science fiction fans who could come together to celebrate their love for it.
