First responder

Imagine you are playing with your favorite toy and suddenly you fall down and hurt yourself really badly. Your parents or someone else who takes care of you will probably pick you up and take you to the hospital or call someone to help you right away.

Similarly, if there is a scary emergency like a fire or someone is really sick or hurt, the first people who come to help are called first responders. They are like super heroes who know how to help people when they are in trouble.

First responders can be different people like police officers, firefighters, or paramedics. They are specially trained to know how to handle different emergencies and help people who are in danger. They have special equipment and tools that help them do their job well.

When you see a police officer or firefighter car with its lights flashing and sirens blaring, that is a sign that someone is in trouble and the first responders are on the way to help them. They are brave and quick, and they are there to keep us safe and help us when we need it the most.
