Fixed Wireless Data

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes we use cables or wires to connect to the internet? Well, fixed wireless data is a way to connect to the internet without using any wires!

It works like this: instead of using cables, we use special antennas that send and receive signals. These antennas are put up on tall things like towers or buildings, and they can send signals over long distances.

When you want to connect to the internet, you need a special device that can pick up the signals from the antennas. This device is called a modem. The modem talks to the antenna and gets the internet signal from it.

Then, the modem sends the internet signal to your computer or phone, so you can use the internet just like when you plug in a cable!

Fixed wireless data is really handy for people who live in places where it's hard to run cables, like in rural areas or places with lots of trees or hills. It's also really fast and can work just as well as cable internet!

So that's fixed wireless data - a way to connect to the internet without using any wires, using special antennas and a modem. Pretty cool, right?
