Flatbed truck

Okay kiddo, so a flatbed truck is like a big car with a really big open space in the back where things can be put on. It doesn't have walls or a roof like a regular car does, so things that are too big to fit in a regular car can be put on a flatbed truck.

For example, if you wanted to move a big couch or a refrigerator from one place to another, you would need a flatbed truck to carry it. The big open space on the back of the flatbed truck can hold all sorts of things like construction materials, big machines, or even other cars!

The truck has a strong frame underneath it to keep everything safe and secure while it drives. The driver sits in a little cab at the front of the truck and steers the big vehicle down the road.
