Flocking (behavior)

Flocking is a behavior seen in some animals like birds in which they travel in groups called 'flocks' and act very similarly. They all fly and turn at the same time, and move in the same direction. This behavior can help the birds be safer, because they can watch out for each other and also any dangers like predators. Flocking makes it harder for a predator to catch one bird because all the birds move together.
