Flow graph (mathematics)

Flow graphs are a way of showing relationships between different numbers or equations. They look like pictures with arrows connecting different shapes. Each shape or box usually shows a calculation or number. The arrows represent the relationships between parts of a problem. The arrows can show that something is bigger or smaller than something else, or that one calculation affects the next.
