Folk classification

Folk classification is when people put things into groups based on what they look like or how they act. It's kind of like a game of sorting where you put things in different piles based on similarities.

Let's say you have a bunch of animals like a cat, dog, and bunny. You could sort them into different groups based on things like whether they have fur or if they have tails.
