Fonds commun de placement

Fonds commun de placement (FCP) are like toy boxes that hold pieces of paper called shares. Shareholders, such as yourself, can buy these pieces of paper and put them in the toy box. When the toy box is full, it's called a fund. The fund can be used to buy different kinds of things such as stocks, bonds and other investments. When you buy a share in a FCP, you own a tiny part of the fund. As the fund grows, you can make money from it.
