Food faddism

Okay kiddo, you know how people have different tastes in food, right? Some people like pizza, some people like broccoli, and some people like both! Well, food faddism is when people start to follow a special way of eating that they think is the best for them, even if it's not something they liked before.

For example, imagine you always loved spaghetti and meatballs, but then your friend says to you, "Hey, have you tried this new diet where you only eat soup? Apparently, it's really good for you." You might start to think that soup is the only way you should be eating, and you stop eating spaghetti and meatballs altogether.

That's what food faddism is like. People might follow really strict rules about what they eat, like only eating foods that are raw, or only eating things that grow underground. They might think that these rules will help them be healthier or lose weight, but sometimes they don't actually know if it's true or not.

It's important to remember that everyone is different, and what works for one person might not work for another. So it's okay to try new things, but it's also okay to stick with what you like and what's good for you.
